day one, ohio

Well, after something like four hours of sleep and a four-magazine plane ride, I landed down in Columbus. I spent the afternoon hanging out with the lovely and generous Karin and her crew of 'kidlets.' It was pretty inspiring. And then my brilliant animation artist friend Jessica took me out toward Cleveland to meet up with my string quartet viola virtuoso host Lauren. I'll be kicking it in scenic Kent, Ohio hanging out with musicians from the Blossom Music Festival for the next several days.
