omg

So, last weekend at Christie and Erik's wedding... the makeup artist didn't show up. Just didn't come. She thought it was on another date.

And if running out to the store just a couple of hours before your wedding to purchase all your own makeup isn't bad enough... today Laura and Eric's Justice of the Peace didn't show up. He thought the ceremony was at 6:30, when it was supposed to begin at 5pm. The guests were seated and there was this frantic rush on the bridal vendors' behalf - everyone local racked their brains to think of a JP who might be able to fill in since they had not heard from him.

It ended up that someone in the audience had certification and could do everything except pronounce them man and wife.
